Just wondering... is anyone down to take a lil trip to the east coast with me
in August. This is going to be a BLAST. This trip centers around the
Virgin Music Festival (http://www.virginfestival.com). The line up says
it all. I already asked all my friends and no one has it in them to go with me. Anyone here have a sence of adventure? Here is the cost break down:

Airfare: $350 leaves San Diego Friday Aug 3 and comes back from
Baltimore Aug 6

ession_key=5C0011AC5D0011AC20070612104819120880669 322&plf=pcln&path=bak

Vacation rental (house) 3 nights: $450

Transportation: No car rental. The airport, the venue, and the house are
all walking distance from the local rail line. That also means no
parking charges.

Tickets: $175 for both days

So who is down?

TV on the Radio
LCD Soundsystem
Fountains of Wayne

Regina Spektor
Infected Mushroom
Girl Talk
Dieselboy and Andy C
M.I.A.
CSS
Deep Dish (Dubfire + Sharam)
Spoon
James Zabiela

Also....

A friend of mine backed out on me on another trip I have planned.. So anyone intrested in seeing Daft Punk at Red Rocks?

I already had their vacation rental booked and paid for: http://www.vrbo.com/70758 Thats a MASSIVE house on 4 acers

I alread have their ticket in hand.

You just give me 50 bucks for the ticket (less then what I paid for it), 100 bucks for the house (less then what I paid for it) and pay for your plane ticket. That is a killer deal to see Daft Punk at this EPIC venue. This trip is me and 4 of my best friends so far but if you would like to come let me know. Also we can get more then one person in no prob (tickets are still avail) but I thought I would put this out there because I want to get my money back that I'v put up for this one spot.

I'm going to Virgin Fest. Can't wait. I just got the following in the mail from 9:30 Club. I'm voting for Cold War Kids since I'd really like to see them added. I'm posting this for anyone else attending Virgin Festival that might be interested: (edit: and I did not write those band descriptions...lol)

Virgin Festival - Book The Band
Starting this Friday, MTV2 will launch "Book the Band By Virgin Mobile," a series of short programs that let viewers pick one of five up-and-coming bands to open this year's Virgin Festival. Participating bands are:

• Seattle post hard-core kids AIDEN
• California indie squad COLD WAR KIDS
• Las Vegas pop group THE HIGHER
• Electro-indie group MUTE MATH
• L.A. alt-rockers SAY ANYTHING

Not only does this contest provide a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for these emerging bands, but also adds even more excitement to this festival. Watch MTV2 starting this Friday and visit www.virginfestival.com afterward to cast your vote
