I just moved to Albuquerque (hey, it's not a bad place to live) and it seems there's an epidemic of improper apostrophe usage. Even in the most official of documents (I work for the state) It's baffling. I wonder why...why do people here love to use apostrophes so much, when they're not needed. It's so prevalent I actually took notice of it. Is it the schools here? I mean, "the school's here"...
