Yeah, it is a little crazy but my Fiancee and I bought a house and spent the weekend moving...I hate moving....It weird because I feel like a adult now...pretty stupid to say because at 24 I have have the last 5 years working and taking care of myself but a house...it stills feels rather odd but kind of cool too..for those who know the colorado area it is in a town called Frederick which is 20 miles north of Denver. Yeah the commute it a bitch but we got a good deal on something brand new. Yeah this is a rather useless thread to start but I have been gone on the board since last wednesday and I need to catch up a bit...just got the internet in today...

My friend up in Northern California has the same occupation as me is almost two years younger then me, gets paid double and just bought a brand new 4 bedroom home in a gated community for about half of what a 25+ year old home with 3 bedrooms costs out here. It makes me sick.

Which is a major reason why we didn't end up moving to LA. Even though that was my 1st choice..

yes I am over by the dumb friends league (I dont know why its called that). Thats an awesome place you live because you are not to far from anything. Denver only like 20-30 min away. Loveland has a great artist community too. My uncle bought a house with some nice land up there. Great views of the mountains.

never really been up to Loveland yet...I have heard it nice though...doesn't it have ski areas close by? My fiancee donates to Dumb Friends League all the time...she told me why they have that name but I forgot...

There is a ski resort Loveland, and the town of Loveland between Erie and Ft Collins.

My Grandparents grew up there! And we went there this past summer to see my Grandpa's cousin and see the house they grew up in. It was cool. Post a pic of your place!

Did you get one of those fancy sub-prime adjustable rate mortgages all the real estate agents are gushing over? Man, everyone is getting in on the action. This one real estate agent was telling me about how sub-prime loans were "the wave of the future" and "here to stay" and "cant go wrong". Sure sounded fancy.

sub prime is the reason why all the financial markets are in a tiff. I know a few people that have them and it is killing them. Because the price of your mortage jumps when interest rates are raised. No, no, no! 30 year fixed!
