I mean in 04, Coachella was Radiohead's only show in N. America, so it's not like they won't come out here for one show...i think..

Beck headlined Detour, a local boutique festival, no way can he headline a 60,000 person gig like Coachella anymore. Shame because he's awesome live. Ugh, I just had a thought. What if THE KILLERS headlined? They have a new album out now. Duran Duran will be in Australia in March/April for V Festival, along with Smashing Pumpkins. I just realized that SP never did a proper LA gig, except for a 45 minute set at that KROQ tweaker fest a few months ago. I say this is the possibility list:

If Coachella starts recycling headliners then they will become no better than those Jam Band festivals that have the same bands every year and what's the point of that.

If the headliners are bad then I will have more time to discover new bands and hanging out in the tents.

Um, confused midwesterners? First of all, I've never lived anywhere but the coasts, asshole, and that included the coast that actually has taste and talent. And you just didn't read properly--listening chick-ish electronic music (not chick-ish music, not electronic music, but BOTH) when you are a teenaged boy... yeah, it does kinda mean you're gay. I got 100 that says Boourns comes out in the next five years.
