Fuck I had such a good time last year, popping my coachella cherry. It was well worth the epic journey!!!!
Coming from a trance lvoer, PvD was a bit disappointing/repetitive (maybe because I was analysing the fuck out of the tracks/breakdowns/percussion/buildups), thought Felix da housecat was better/feistier. Saying that, I did like pvd busting out that little bootleg segment where he went into white stripes and than into born slippy.
MUSE Fucking rock, they killed it at the BDO in oz.

Really?? My sister loves lily allen and I'm really not impressed. What am I missing? Is she awesome live? Cuz she just seems like a mediocre popstar.

myspace is a breeding ground of mediocrity. Emo bands, emo kids posting suicide notes via bulletin, Tila Tequila, and millions of girls with "the angles." "Alfie" was pretty decent, though...

i guess i should know better than to listen to anyone who takes their music cues from myspace.

Lily Allen's CD is full of terrific songs. "Littlest Things" and "Friday Night" are 2 of the best from this year. Sure, it's "just" pop music, but she doesn't have any pretensions that she's doing more than that, and the craftsmanship of her songs and the maturity of some of her lyrics suggest that she can grow into an even more substantive artist.

I was not planning to see her but I ended up doing so because these people I met and was hanging out with wanted to see her. She put on a fun show. and it got me to see ratatat (my best surprise of the weekend)
