Woh, I had no idea until right now boxing day only happens in commonwealth countries.

Boxing day is great. Its a day where everything goes on sale, just because. And for no apparent reason.
The CDs I got were buy 2 get the 3rd free. On ALL CDs.
The pants I got were 50% off.
The shoes I got were onsale from $100 to $60 dollars.
Also, while looking around at basses and guitars, they had some onsale from $1500 off. Too bad I didn't like anything onsale.

Have you ever been in a store on boxing day? I have literaly seen people get into fights over DVD players, cameras, TVs etc.

i think best buy had a good plan this year. each person in line was handed one ticket that could be used to purchase one of the big ticket items and that was all you got, so people would not be running in and hording all the popular stuff.
