Anyone remember these guys? They had that song Stars which was pretty cool. Anyway, they have an article on Billboard (http://www.billboard.com/bbcom/news/article_display.jsp?vnu_content_id=1003693972) right now where they address Coachella directly:
Group members are aware of the glut of reunited alternative rock bands now back in action at such festivals at Coachella, but Talbott says, "I don't know if we're cool enough for that festival. We're kind of meatheads, when it comes down to it."
I actually was thinking they'd be a nice addition. Oh well. So yeah, cross them off the list.

Fucking listened to them yesterday. "You'd Prefer and Astronaut" and "The Pod" are my favorites. I am from Chicago and have never seen that band.

I had to register just to add some love for You'd Prefer an Astronaut. If you don't have it, go get it..and then go get Failure's Fantastic Planet. I would definitely check them out at Coachella!

Good call on the Failure. Amazing band. I would love to see them perform live at some point in the future, although the Ken Andrews solo show was pretty cool. About 1/3 of the set was Failure material. We even got a mini-reunion at the Troubadour with Kelly on the drums for The Nurse Who Loved Me, even if Ken's wife contributed some butchered vocals.
