RHCP, despite whatever quality of their recordings, are always good live. Frusciante is a guitar god, and Flea is still one of the best bassists in modern music today.So, yeah. RHCP over a bag of Doritos.

I loved their set. The only complaint is that some of the song choices were questionable. For example, they played "Throw Away Your Television," "Otherside," and a couple weird songs that Flea and John sang. I would have rather had them play a few more tracks from Blood Sugar Sex Magik and Mother's Milk. Had they played "Stone Cold Bush," it would have been the happiest night of my life.

However, their jams were incredible. They opened the set with a five minute jam session between Flea and Frusciante, with John playing these ridiculously cool guitar riffs. It made me wish they would do an album like that, instead of always wanting to write 5 minute pop songs these days. Just a jam band type of concept album. It would be amazing.

They won't do that though they just need to kick Keidis and become a instrumental band like explosions. I actually would have liked to seen Otherside though my one friend said that was the highlight for him mainly based on it was unexpected.
