Not sure why this wasn’t posted yesterday (unless I missed it totally) … are we getting so complacent that a bunch of kids are not worth a thread where some move star gets one .. sad …

I am going to make some online enemies here but so be it …. Now gun proponents are saying the reason all the kids were killed yesterday is because it was at a college that was a gun free zone … “why if I had a gun, he would never have killed that many” “since we cannot protect the kids, they have to protect themselves. Every kid and every teacher in school should be able to have a concealed weapon” that’s just what I would like to do, sit in a classroom of 40 20 year olds that all have a gun in their pockets. If you think that way, then you are a fucking retard to the nth degree …. X****

Hey, if you kill someone with a knife they probably did something pretty messed up to begin with. I won't go so far as to say every stabbing victim deserved what they got... but they're certainly more likely to have had some role in their eventual meeting with the business end of a blade.

You think the families the Manson clan killed knew them? Not trying to get in a pissing match. I just think guns are a tool, It's up to the user to use it properly. If someone wants to kill, they're gonna kill. Hands, knives, guns, a rope, whatever it takes. Yes guns make it a lot easier but that doesn't mean they are the problem.

I tried to stab someone. Had I not had the knife I would have grabbed the closest object to me to devastate that person. That just means I have a problem. What ever tool I would have used was not the cause of any action I took.

I don't think that's being a hypocrite at all. I totally agree that he wouldn't have killed that many people with a knife, unless he was some sort of expert. I just don't think the gun is the problem. Not that it's any kind of solution either.
