sneaking in??

I was just wondering if anyone was able to sneak into coachella? a friend of mine doesnt have a ticket but wants to try and sneak in. Or has anyone bought tickets from the people selling along the street on the way in? :o

i saw a few people sneak in last year. be prepared to run from security.

the people that sell tickets along the street will try to scam you. don't let them sucker you into paying too much.

I had a buddy lose his rage ticket last year and some other dude was nice enough to sell him his ticket for almost the face value because he had to leave. As for sneaking in I think it could go either way.

he went through the security and when he came up to the guy who scans tickets he said hold on a sec and went down like he was about to tie his shoe and just darted off, security was on him in a second but he was already running at top speed and dodged his way into the crowd, a minute later i saw the security guard walking back alone.

On the same note. I've had friends sneak in a few times. One friend got caught once and they escorted him out. Then an hour later he tried again and was succesful. He basically walked around the polo grounds and climbed over the fence. There was a key to his success but you will have to find out by yourself (it's really very simple). As far as getting tickets outside, I've posted that a bunch of times before: There are always plenty of tickets outside for face value or less, and the closer you get to nightime the cheaper they get.

Last year on Sunday a friend of mine who had a legit ticket was walking in, but was actually able to squeeze in with me some how w/o having his ticket scanned (he was kinda a small guy and was behind me)..

Also, a friend of mine was able to score VIP tix each day last year for only like $30 from really dehydrated scalpers (we showed up around 4pm each day).

seriously, I'm from the valley. People there do not appreciate the fact that we have Coachella. They are always sneaking in, it happens a lot.

(A) I agree that we should all by tickets.
(B) A friend of mine was kicked out of line for having for having a pipe. The cops took his ticket. He got back in by getting a used copy of someones printed out ticket from ticket master. He put chap stick on the bar code and got in an hour or two later. Sounds dumb, but it worked

Walk around inside the perimeter of the festival and you will see at least one person trying it. You wouldn't believe how many people get away with it.

coachella is expensive. not everybody has that kind of money to blow. if i couldnt afford a ticket id sneak in. if its between not going, or sneaking in, its a pretty easy choice.

I don't recommend it. Everyone I saw sneaking in got caught and no I didn't turn them in. Security is just really on it at Coachella.

The craziest thing I saw was some guy trying to fool the people at the entrance gate and then refused to leave and then got arrested for trespassing because of his refusal to leave the grounds. All of these happened in a couple of minutes.
