We could all just contribute $1 each to buy this place and it would totally be worth it. (http://realestate.nytimes.com/sales/detail/297-0711356)

i see 95 million.

Would be fun though. You'd have my dollar. Fuck it, I'm a big spender. I'm down for $5. It is a beautiful property, but a bit gaudy for my taste.

95 mil for 8 bed rooms though....ridiculous

This board has just under 10,000 members. That means we'd each have to contribute $9,500. Per account.

So it's either that or we need to get a whole lot more people to sign up for this board.

damn, there is a house here in newport listed for $125,000,000...takes up 3 lots on a cliff overlooking the pacific. the only people who can probably afford it are saudi oil barons...

a one million dollar mortgage runs around $6000 a month, using that formula it would be approx. $750,000/month, not including maintenance, staff, etc.

Hey, if you all send me $20 each, i can pay off my mortgage 20 years early.
You can have a festival in my yard. Maybe room for a solo acoustic performance and a crowd of 15-20. Bargain.

The only problem with this plan is that we'd have to share the house with 95,000,000 people.

When you feel that it is time for sleep it is generally worth it to travel to your bedroom, even if it is half a gigantic house away.

When you just need to powder your nose or take a leak you want a bathroom right there.
