Good nightclubs in LA area?

I need to get out more. What are some fun nightclubs around the valley/Hollywood, etc.

I've enjoyed the 80s one at the Henry Fonda, used to go to Bang! but haven't been in ages.

how's vanguard. i've yet to go there.

I'm thinking about Miss Kitty's this Saturday. I've always wanted to go there for some reason

If you are into Steve Aoki, DJ AM and MSTRKRFT.. that whole crew is rep'd by Matt Colon, he sends out invites to Banana Split and all those Sunday parties. I can PM his info you want it.

Also, Vanguard is too pricey in my opinion. Avalon is ok sometimes, Matthew Dear was just there last week spinning as was pretty awesome!

the new club Eleven is kinda cool in West Hollywood. It's 50/50 on gays and straights if you don't mind that. but the crowd is 'overly hip' but the dj's are pretty cool.

Other than that, I dunno..

I was kidding, by the way. I went there a few years ago and it sort of sucked. The girls are average-looking, and they don't even get fully naked. I am not a strip club kinda guy, but I wanted to check it out because Courtney Love used to dance there, so I was curious to see it. Anyway, it's pretty much a dive.

I looooooooove love love love LOVEEEEE Circus. That club is HUGE. I used to go there a lot when they had Spundae on Saturdays. Best part of the club is the outdoor food area.
Avalon has asshole security.
I like Vanguard a lot too.

well lets see Friday nights you can go to the Spider Club (after hours) 2am-8am. Located on second floor of Avalon

Saturdays: Avalon, Circus, Red (electronic music) also try viper room. the Standard is a cool spot that overlooks LA

also check out key club, Ivar....

Some new clubs to check out in the Los Angeles and surrounding areas are Playhouse, Kress, MyHouse, Voyeur, Wonderland and MI-6. I heard they are all popping, but there is often bullshit about guest lists and bottle service. It is easier to get in if you are in a group of hot girls. Too many clubs play crappy hip hop and R&B music anyway.

Another new club called Empire just opened where club Sugar used to be on the Cahuenga section of Hollywood. I heard the cast of "the Hills" was there a few nights ago.
