In a few weeks there's going to be a theatre production of David Lynch's "Lost Highway" here in London. (http://www.youngvic.org/whats-on?action=details&id=1750)

I got my tickets a while ago and I'm really excited about it, and I just found this website which contains video clips and teasers for the production, and interviews with the director / actors and stuff. (http://enolosthighway.blip.tv/#779210)

It's all really cool and interesting so I thought I'd spread the word, for any fellow fans.

Man... Though I'm absolutely LOVING my 78 degree, blue skies for miles, sitting out at the beach weather... I wish I could transport to London to see this...

yes... please share how it goes...

All right, I went to see it last Friday. It was good, but not great. I'd give it 6 out of 10 overall.

As a Lynch fan, I'm glad I saw it. But if I was just a member of the public who hadn't seen the film, I think I would have been pretty disappointed and confused. The staging was excellent - a perspex cube was hung above the stage, and above the audience, and this served as the house, where much of the action took place. Occasionally the cube was filled with smoke and flashing lights, and this is where the changeover between Fred and Pete took place, and was really well done. The stage itself was good too, and a full-size car was driven out, for the road scenes near the end. There was also a hot actress playing Renee / Alice and she went topless and acted out some of the more raunchy scenes, so that was a bonus.

All of this was let down by the sub-standard acting, though, and by the seemingly random and uneccesary operatic singing. Also, no matter how good the play was, it could never have come anywhere close to Lynch's original, so I guess it was always going to be a bit of a let-down. Still, it was cleverly done, and worth seeing.

Also, as I left the theatre, some woman asked me if I would mind answering a few questions and giving my thoughts on the peformance, whilst I was filmed. I agreed to do it, and I am now featured in this promotional footage for the show
(http://www.eno.org/youngvic/lh_audience.html), in which I look kind of stupid, but nevermind.

No one looks more stupid than the guy wearing the scarf and no shirt underneath.

Where was Lando?

Lando was busy that night, and besides, there were no celebrities in the show.
