AVOIDING the shad(i)e(s)

so this question i have doesn't refer to the sun (I TRICKED U).. i'm wondering if anybody has any un-obvious advice on how to go about obtaining certain special (mind-bending) elements. my friend and i are game to try just about everything during this surely magical weekend, but neither of us has experienced the music festival scene, and we really just don't know what we're in for, what we should do to ensure craziness thru substance.. i reasonably expect that there will be lots of very high quality product available coughlsdcough, and that there will be a very small # of people who possess shyte thats not at all good to take, but because ive never been and don't even really have any stories from friends whove had bad trips on bunk drugs at festivals like this.. i guess i just tend to err on the side of caution.. i'm rambling.. all i'm really wondering is if theres any advice out there that goes beyond just being a good judge of a person and then what type of product that person might possess.. any information about actually DOING the drug-obtaining process, is what i seek. let me know. sorry if this is a bad (first (so be gentle)) post/thread or whatever, it's just that this topic is the ONE thing that concerns me about coachella as i've had some very very bad trips in my past and wouldn't want something like that to happen the first night, ruining the whole experience.. ya know? anything anyone's got on finding the best shyte, or just general information on what to expect, what the reality of the situation is going to be, would be so appreciated

i have to agree... if you know ANYTHING about mind-altering drugs you'd know that enviroment is key... if you've never been to a music festival before, i wouldn't recommend doing anything... even if you just smoked or drank you could have a freak out (i've seen it happen plenty)... the LASt thing i'd want to do is acid or shrooms or whateva in a strange, unfamiliar place packed in with 60,000 people and no place to get away (aside from a portapottie) AND YOU'RE TRAPPED!!!! AAAAAAAAHHHHHHGGGGGGRRRRRHHHH!!!!! nice... actually, go ahead and GO CRAZY!!! haha, all the heat will be around you and the rest of us might get a moment's peace...

yea sorry for the bluntness, maybe i posted this too quickly without thinking too much about it. but nobody addressed my actual question. the only 2 things i can really reply to are "don't be stupid about who u talk2" and nbvwes's post. "don't be stupid about who u talk2".. i believe i asked for un-obvious advice, so if there's anything more you can say about avoiding stupidity, anything insightful, it would be appreciated. maybe that's a stupid request, but you can't say that you don't know what kind of wisdom i'm looking for. that would be stupid too. nbvwes: i wouldn't be trying new things, i'd be trying old things, and certain drugs will (probably) not be consumed by me in a festival environment. i know drugs and i'm (probably again, because i never really know for sure with me) not going to take lsd or shrooms at the concert.. those would be saved for later in a safer, calmer environment just for the sake of conversation and being creative and whatnot. went to demf (detroit electronic music festival) last summer, dont really consider it an experience tho because i boomed after i was drunk and ended up blacking out and laying blatantly outside of my motel (after walking 2 miles from the event location in DOWNTOWN detroit). lol, there i conciously pissed myself (to test my existence. results were negative). i was lucky to be found FIRST by randomass people from my highschool, being let in by them into the hotel, passing out/laying down AGAIN in the hotel, and being found AGAIN by the friends i had walked away from, that i came with, who had just got back from the concert. terrible. so yes i have concern for the env., no i do not want to do that class of drugs AT coachella (lol but i might. you know?), but would like to experience those later on, on a beach or something (we're in cali for like 2 weeks after. wandering and shyte). all i asked for was anything insightful about the obtainment process. something i didn't think of.. secret police.. any words about that? sorry if i'm being stupid and if i am and it really bothers you tell me in what way and i might adjust my next posts. obviously i'm talking about things that maybe shouldn't go over the intranets but i thought everybody realized i was talking about everything in a purely hypothetical situation..? obviously theres no drugs at coachella, nor have i ever, nor will i ever, and so on and so on

i'm just so excited as these days get lower and lower in number, closer to coachella, im so fucking psyched that im going to be able to experience something like this. whatever it becomes! and if i'm too shy or too blatant as i profile&then request people for drugs, so be it, learning experiences, i ll figure out how i should got about getting what i want when i get there. just hoping that i dont purchase bad chemicals and that i dont get stung by a po po en cognito. looking forward to seeing evv rah bah dee & everything
