Shut up. Look where hell you guys are with the diesel. No Gasol or Bynum and we are still hanging in there. This is just the wrong time to lose. I was thinking to myself they need to win like 7 or87 of their last 10 to be fine in the standings, and it doesnt look liek it might happen.

Go Lakers ! Hope our big men arent' broken for the playoffs. Kobe for MVP, should have gotten it last year and year before that, 81 pts in a game and league scoring title on a terrible team.

Pau Gasol is due back this Sunday. Once we get Bynum, Ariza, and Gasol back there will be championships coming to LA!

I know Lakers are suffering from some injuries, but didnt the Warriors just beat them on Sunday and take em into OT on Monday? Why is Kobe so whiney? Thats why he has all those T's.

Bynum and Gasol might replicate what Shaq did and bring a trophy to LA. this is a very real possiblity. no doubt.
but
both are unproven in the playoffs. The playoffs are a completely different game than the regular season, as the old Suns and the Mavericks have shown the past few years.
I wouldn't count your money just yet, laker fan.

Lakers will win a couple of championships with their full line up. You can quote me on that.

Let's start with one championship with their current line up.

wouldn't be surprised if the new look Sun's going strong with Shaq, the newly powerful Lakers w/ both big men, the surprising Hornets with Chris Paul, surging Houston, Denver with Mellow, triple threat Celtics, tough as nails Pistons, all go down to the the boring Spurs, again... sigh
go Lakers

What are you talking about? Gasol has won... oh wait. He never won a playoff game in Memphis. What was he? 0 for 8? Hahahaha.

It's a shame that Cuban ended up trading as much as he did for Jason Kidd and than Dirk goes down.

I'm a lifelong Laker hater. Always have been, always will be. Most Laker fans (not ALL) have a tendency to be frontrunners. Always chirping when things are going well. I hate that.
Now, if you are a lifelong Laker fan, and with them through thick and thin, then you have my respect.
Also, that Gasol trade was one of the best trades of all time. Not only getting Pau, but getting rid of Kwame "hands of stone" Brown. Huge.

I agree, if by "shame" you mean "something really great cuz Cuban's a pompous ass".

92 through 96 were very frustrating years for me.
Vlade and Van Excel, Eddie Jones were semi tough times but still was ok rooting for em. I was sad when Eddie and Eldon C. got traded, but the years right after the Shaq trade were really bad with Smush Parker at point while Fish was traded away. I was kinda rooting for the Clippers the last few years despite Stearling not spending any money.
