I just caught their set at Amoeba Records in SF earlier today, probably less than 200 people there. Met them, got a signed poster. Awesome dudes, totally amazingly awesome show and they're totally excited about Coachella! It'll be CRAZY! Best band playing at 2:30 on Saturday for sure!

I was debating on who to see at that time. My first thought was Man Man, but I really didnt dig their cd, but they say they are much better live so maybe I should check them out.

If anything, it's worth seeing just to see them bang on random things and blow their plastic party horns like their life depended on it. They're amazing live.

Man Man are spectacularly amazing live. I really, really, really hope I can get my crew motivated to get the fuck out of bed, eat a quick breakfast at Del Taco, and get on the road from PS early enough to catch them. Yes, I stay in Palm Springs and have for the last seven years. This will be eight. You got a problem with it? Go camp with the hippies or stay in a Motel or Timeshare in buttfuck Indio.

Anyway - YES. Man Man is insanely amazing... a whirlwind of percussion, jingle bells, bearded men, yelps and crooning and shiny things.. a fantastic live show.

I'm really going to try and get there in time to see this show. I like their new album, and really want to see the live show. I always miss early acts though. Last year I was super bummed that I missed The Cribs. Hopefully I see you all there!

First off, many thanks to Mr. Bmack for voicing out on the boards/chat about this band in the first place. Without his help I would not know these guys. Saw them at Coachella and they killed it. Saw them in Chicago tonight, and they killed it again!!! (only bad part was having to leave during encore to catch the last train of the night back out to suburbs). Very fun night. Was a much needed great show to dig me out of a streak of bad shows. Don't ask me for a set list, as I never have dug into their discography/ bought an album, however this will change after tonight.

P.S. Tim Fite (opening band) was pretty funny/entertaining. So don't miss him if you are seeing Man Man on this tour.

The show is Thursday, and i'm on the verge of going. I have an obligation that runs till 8, and thats when the show starts, so i'd be showing up late.

I'll try and convince my friend to go with me, its only 12.50 a ticket. Hopefully it isn't sold out yet.
