No, the dumbest rumor was the one I was trying to start...that it was Flight Of The Conchords.

The idea of Sean Penn coming out, making a speech, and then bringing out Eddie Vedder makes a lot of sense. Eddie and Sean have been close lately. And they've been plugging that Phil Donahue doc recently...he does a couple acoustic songs in that.

I don't think it's happening, but I will add more fuel to the rumor. Sean Penn did perform a song at one of Eddie's recent solo shows. Supposedly, he dedicated it to his wife (they were getting divorced). The next day, she withdrew the divorce.
