On a positive note, they did play Dark Side of the Moon, in it's entirety. Which made for a really relaxing time in the campgrounds that night.

That picture shows no lasers. So are you telling me there were NO lasers.
I'm just looking for a bit of a description. You don't have to tell me though if you don't want to.

The lasers got better when Dark Side of the Moon played, and when Led Zeppelin but the lasers got shot and had ripples near the food tent in the campgrounds.
That pic was the testing and calibrating of the lasers, I bet you guys missed the show

They had images on the screen, then lasers making shapes on the screen. I'm sure SOMEBODY has a video of it, either way I would have rather watched Dances With Wolves in slow motion. Quite boring.

There were lasers. But nowhere near enough lasers to earn the name LASERIUM.

It started around 11:23 because all my friend got pissed and went to sleep, I stayed and watched the actual show, smoked a bowl, and relaxed, laid on my back and watched the lasers shoot over my head.

See, that sounds adequate to me. I would have liked to see that. I didn't camp this year though.

i was mostly there for that little animated video thing they did before. Saw a bit of Zep/Dark Side from afar. It didn't seem that great at all, but Thursday night was so much fun anyway.
THe DJ's spinning before weren't bad.

I was REALLY stoned for this haha and showed up like right when it was supposed to start, because we were just wandering the campground. I asked some guy standing behind the barrier what the show was going to be, and he said "I don't know what you heard, this is the show." in a very douchey manner. We were like w/e and just chilled and talked for a while. For more than an hour there was a mediocre DJ and a kind of cool VJ, and very minimal lasers. I didn't even stay for the whole DSOTM thing, but I was so let down. I think they could have done a much better job, and maybe announced what they were doing, and it could have been cool.

hey that guy with the bunny ears and glasses was right behind us for that laserium thing... me and my friends kept putting on his glasses and it was some trippy ass shit... then turns out he camped 3 tents down from us and would come by and smoke some herb every night after that... cool guy

I have to agree.. I went to laserium this past summer to see DSOM and I was kind of disappointed. It seems like more of a place to go to on an elementary school field trip. However, they do have some powerful colored lasers. It's not really laserium's fault.. We can't crowd scan in America, so it's not like we can be engulfed in lasers.. However, they are supposed to redo laserium at the Sproose Goose Dome in Long Beach, and it's supposed to be the largest indoor laser show in America (or the world?) when it is done, so I'll really be looking forward to that when it opens.
Did they bring out the light show dancer thing? That shit is really gay.

yup... thats the story.
I think the concert films on the big blow up screen from prior years was a better idea. Allowing registered campers who have bought tickets to vote on what to play would be awesome!
