I probably missed a few, but try to avoid these banal lintfucks you would hear called bands by many, but truly whose clandestine joy revolves around stoic praise, from the local NME reporter and VH1 critic, and their monetary accomplishments, But I would hope GV would see this trait in them and be the better person. Although I get the impression that Goldenvoice just plans to make money off of being a reputable name in the indie genre.

I'm not positive but I think Cassadaga sold more than any of the other albums I know it was no. 4 on the billboard charts and while it wasn't as well received as I'm Wide Awake Its Morning. It ended up on quite a few best music of 2007 lists.

Thank Jeebus the voice of one negative is not deciding the flavor of Coachella '09. The festival's selling point--well, for me at least--is the fact that I can catch bands that I follow closely (i.e. The National, Hot Chip, Portishead) and experience groups I had never seen before (i.e. Justice, Santogold, Prince). So what if there's a band you don't like performing, just stay away then. There is something for everyone from the casual fan to the erudite music snob to enjoy.
