my question needs rather fast attention to as i am trying to decide whether to buy tickets and get a hotel room. if i put it in the street scene thread/scarjo thread nobody would pay attention. this way the question will be responded to quickly and also people who dont pay attention to the Street scene thread may read this so i have a broader range of people to answer my questions.

i don't understand supre. why do you feel so much pleasure in pointing out there is another thread with some of the same details?

Been there all the time, it is quite nice. Downtown San Diego has a few semi-sketchy areas but you will most definitely not be in the vicinity. Of course, most places in the world are a bit sketchy after midnight, but with the crowds spilling out of Street Scene that will definitely not be the case here.

Furthermore, the trolley runs by Horton Plaza, and it runs all night, so if in doubt why not just take that?

San Diego, in general, is really safe for a big city, you should be fine.

As long as you're not going to Logan Heights or Lemon Grove or something you should be fine.

Petco over to horton plaza is the safest downtown area I could ever fathom. It'll be crowded with yuppies that time of night too, no worries.

A really sketchy area is right down the street from Petco Park.
Fuck...

and Horton Plaza is a really good area of San Diego. It's just too upscale for me

it's just childish man, people have some serious questions about a FESTIVAL, and I know how much everyone here loves them. It can be hard to get info, and questions answered when you and others are filling the page with big ass pictures, that take up space.

It's just too upscale for me Funny how shit changes over the years...Lemon Grove used to be a quaint village like place to live and Horton Plaza was the place to find hookers and transients. The last time I was there it had flipped the other way. All in all though, they don't call it America's Finest City for nothing...

Also staying at the Westin Horton Plaza. Neighborhood is fine. They also have bike chariots you can ride around downtown. It's fairly a long walk from Westin to where SS is, but certainly safe and not boring.

Wait, why is Scarlett Johansson synonymous with Street Scene again...?
