I'm gonna pay $100 for a new pair. I do this every two years. $50 a year on shoes, if my calculatorless math is correct.

Do you have shoes that you wear for work and then seperate shoes that you wear just for casual stuff, or are they all just mixed together?

I keep my shoes loose, so the gout never gets out.

BROKENDOLL

I keep my shoes loose, so the gout never gets out. So, you're like a selfish masochist, or what? I've heard that shit is beyond painful.

BROKENDOLL

GOUT it out would be more cost effective. Then again, "No pain, no gain," right?

I think it's from Pot's shoes. I rate it a 2 in the foot fungi department. How far are you willing to take this Yabs? This has the potential to blow your "mold" thread out of the water.

oh man, i got a massive case of gout when i was back in nyc for apw. no pain, but my foot and ankle were a good 2-3 times the normal size, and some mild discomfort. if i had pain it would have fucked up most of my week in the city. i got it from drinking, it was my first case of it. had 17 drinks in one night that included: half a bottle of wine, 7-8 jack and coke's, 4 shots of patron, 2 irish car bombs, and a few pbr's. i don't drink really at all, but i held my own that night, was able to walk without stumbling and talk without slurring. woke up the next morning feeling great, too...guess it all went to my foot!

you should see the bottoms by the end of summer, they are like leather from walking around barefoot here at the beach everyday.

my usual shoes consist of a pair of mephistos that are the most comfortable shoes ever and worth every damn penny and a pair of plain old black converse chuck taylors.
