Yeah that sounds about right. Though I'm rarely on tight deadlines so it doesn't have much of an effect on me. I do know I would be ridiculously more productive without this message board. I think all of this just means I need a new job.

I'm actually kind of shocked that I can access the board so easy at my work. They've blocked myspace and facebook understandably, but not this one. I hope it's not just a matter of time.

Basically, go on google and look for a web proxy, then just connect to the messageboard through that. It should bypass your company's firewall.

I don't think they ban any sites at my office. I know that my coworkers use myspace and facebook frequently, and one of the attorneys is always on AIM.

They frown on excessive internet usage at my work, but I do excellent work and never complain about my workload. A girl who used to work with me made the mistake of asking that her workload be reduced...and the IT guy told her boss just how much time she was spending on myspace during the day. Oops.

They must have seen how much you were perusing on here to block it...

This just doesn't seem like a super frequented social networking site, at least enough so that it would warranted being blocked at your work. Either that or they just saw how much cumulative time was spent on the board in your IT department.

Anyways, I'm sorry. My day would go by a whole lot slower if it wasn't for all my messageboard meandering.

My work informed us a few weeks ago that soon they will install higher security on our computers, key-stroke recording shit and stuff. *sigh* I guess I need one of those phones. I'm gonna get a new verizon phone soon actually.

Key stroke recorders can be detected easily but its not like they will be too keen on you turning it off. If they have key strokes recorded it is very likely that they are getting screen shots emailed to them randomly on a daily basis.

Yeah the site went down for awhile yesterday, so that was the problem. Everytime the site goes down I think they blocked it.

I just wanted to take this time to thank those who were there in my time of need. And I don't know what I would do if the MB was taken away at work. Some one would have to text me the line up when it came out.
