i kinda like the Cansei de Ser Sexy one... not love, but like

it reminds of this famous UFO case, where this guy found a craft in the jungle & it disintigrated his dog... literally turned the animal inside out...

anyways.. he was on the Art Bell show a bunch of times.. and he took a pic of the craft..
it looked very similar to this pic

i should find it

The Islands cover looks like something that most of the people in this town would have matted and framed, hanging next to their Jerry handprints and their fractal posters. The art is as bad as the album is good.

Am I really the only one who loves the Mogwai album cover? I think it's hilarious. I don't think it was intended to be taken that seriously. It's supposed to be pretty cheesy.

Also, MMJ have a history of bizarre album covers. In particular, The Tennessee Fire. But I think the It Still Moves cover is all-time fucking brilliant. A classic.

One of the bandmates relatives is a special ed teacher at an elementary school and they came to play songs for them, and one of the kids drew it an gave it to them, i guess it just stuck with them.

Pretty cool.

I know that story - but liking the artwork, requires that story - hence a crappy album cover.
