Jamiroquai keyboard player Matt Johnson has posted a message to his MySpace blog giving an update on what he has been working on recently. Here are a couple of things that he talks about...

"It's been a mad busy year for me making what is going to be a monstrously good new album with Jamiroquai... I'm really looking forward to touring the new album with Jay and the chaps next year, I really think it's going to be a special album..."

They usually always tour in Europe over the summer. They haven't toured the U.S. since Fall '05. But just in case they're in this neck of the woods next year, they know how to rock the crowd. They be a great group to put on the main stage before a headliner. Please no dance tent!

I suppose this was meant for rumors, gossip, wishlist section... hopefully you don't think my request for Jamiroquai isn't as mis-guided as this thread location lol. Thanks for the support CDubby. You were the one that enjoyed the Bird and the Bee set as much as me... Great minds do truly think alike... ugh...

oh man I forgot about the fall 05 tour. I remember I almost went to see them at the fillmore but it was sold out.

Well that's reason why they tour Europe as opposed to the U.S.- They can sell out clubs and Theaters here, but in Europe they''re still relevant enough to play arenas.

I broke the bank in '05 to see them- Their 2 shows in NYC and then a week later in Chicago. I got my pic taken with "the guy (Jason Kay)", and I also broke down lol.

So hopefully they'll come back again in '09.
