do yourself a favor and check rodulate. fucking amazing album. it went to my top 5 vibert albums in only the first listen. it's all unreleased material from late 80s, early 90s. i can only imagine those unreleased solo works and collaborations with rdj. they won't even release half of those, so let's hope someone steal his hard drive.
drum n bass for papa and tally ho are great albums too.

I heart all of Vibert's work. Definitely check out 'Stop the Panic' by Luke Vibert and B.J. Cole. I still remember seeing them play the el rey back in the late nineties and was one of the best shows I've gone to at that venue.

Rodulate is amazing. And BJ Cole's steel guitar work on "Stop The Panic" makes that record a great acidy Hawaiian soundtrack. Perfect for driving around the islands.

With all the recent activity with Mr. Vibert I sure hope he is on the line up for 2010!

yes! i like the new record too. this is a copy/paste from the 2009 albums thread:
i'm liking the new luke vibert. it's not a groundbreaking album but it's solid and quite diverse in styles. a fun groovy album made by a guy who has been consistently good over the years. it's cool to see vibert playing with dubstep and hip hop samples like he did on throbbing pouch, but putting his acid bits here and there. if you liked his previous releases -like big soup or tally ho- you'll enjoy this one.

i want the 030303 compilation to be released soon. i thought it'd be out by the end of august but haven't heard dates yet. tracks by luke, ceephax, kettel, db, d'arcangelo, jtc, eod.
samples sound pretty good. you can check them here: http://www.myspace.com/030303
