Loving it already. Not too sure about the Janeane Garofalo role. Just wondering why they casted her, but her little Lisa Loeb glasses are kinda hot. (what can I say I like the nerdy librarian look)

I need to rewatch the premiere but I found it to be a tad boring. But if you guys, my fellow 24 fanz say it was good then Im gunne give it another shot. I must admit, the Tony twist is VERY interesting. And I loved how Jack's tendency to torture is a running joke. Best part is when the lady FBI agent tells him "Do what you have to do" (or something like that) and he just JUMPS for the pen. Kiefer FTW

For some reason, it's not working for me at all. She's too demure in the role, it doesn't suit her.

Here is the thing. Yes you are right. She doesn't fit the bill. But here is the other thing, it's 24. Anything that seems possibly wrong or over the top or out of place, I really could care less. Yes, Jack torturing everyone is a joke. There he goes again, big shocker. But at this point in the game after watching 6 seasons, who cares? It's a guilty pleasure at this point. So they could cast Screech as the next terrorist and I'll be there enjoying every minute of it all the while while I make fun of the show. That's whats so great about 24. I don't even care that right now they are ripping off Die Hard 2. I'm waiting for Dennis Franz to walk in with a donut and start screaming for the dad from Family Matters.

i think the tony thing is just a little rediculous because when he died he was meant to DIE, they just brought him back because so many shocking things have happened, they are running out of complete obsurd things to do

yeah, i wasn't too impressed with the whole i was saved 10 mins after i died by being injected with a hypothermic injection story...but it's 24...whatever.

most people would have brain damage after 10 mins...

Funny thing, when Entourage started I thought Drama was the biggest tool and worst actor on the show. Now, he's easily my favorite and has been nominated for best supporting actor gigs twice. Maybe Janean has the same future. VICTORY!!!!!!!

Yeah it took me a few minutes to get past the short haircut before realizing who it was. I hope he turns out to be an arch villian, he's much more entertaining when he's mad and yelling.

Great first four episodes, and I couldn't believe that they hired janeane to be an almost identical character to chloe...

I didn't even think about him when I wrote that but yeah, Billy Walsh as that asshole guy is pretty good. And by good I mean way over the top acting like an asshole so the viewer think something completely different about the character than they should.

yeah, good episode. totally should have been another 2 hour run. nothing hardly happened this episode...just settin up the next one. Plus, i hate how they run previews at the end of the episodes and then what they showed isn't in the next one.

they showed jack talking with the president in the last preview, but he didn't get there in the episode.

I never, EVER watch the previews for the next show. I need the total surprise when I tune in---and yeah, last night's show certainly is a table setter, but I really liked the cliffhanger ending.
