Didn't see a thread for this but I figure since we are telling each other about what we are currently listening to, what current netflix do we have at home?
I've got 5 movies at a time.
currently at home: Joe Strummer - The Future is Unwritten, Leatherheads (bluray), Happy Endings, Mad Men Season 1 Disc 2 (bluray) along with Firefly - The Complete Series which will be here Saturday. Never saw the show but heard good reviews and figured I should see it before Serenity
Do share!

i think the commercial is kind of sneaky though for netflix .... it says something like, see them right on your tv, and then at the bottom right there is a little quick flash that says "device needed", yea you need an xbox 360 i believe ... cr****

you just need one of their slingbox type thingys. it's like $50 i believe. or you can get netfilx service on xbox 360 as well. i love netfilx drew. had it since 2004, i believe. get the 3 at a time plan and as long as you get 6 a month, it is worth the $ you pay, compared to getting them in a rental store. any over 6 a month is gravy. ;) (btw, i watch a lot of movies)
just sent back:
Wall E
Eagle Eye
Burn After Reading
just got:
Wanted
Hellboy 2
Meet Dave
queued:
Pineapple Express

burn after reading was weird. can't say i loved it, but it did keep my attention. eagle eye is good, if you can just sit back and take it for what it is. it has some cheesy action and an over the top plot at points.

Blockbuster is better. Netflix doesn't have shit. Plus you exchange movies you get in the mail for free in-store rentals.

I've had the opposite problem. Blockbuster had maybe 2 out 5 of the movies I would want to see each week.

Bigger Faster Stronger documentary
this movie was fucking terrible. He goes from demonizing steroids to being an apologist for roids, and then ends the movie by saying it's society's fault that he and his brothers are hooked on steroids. Retarded.
My favorite part: the guy living in his van so he can work out at Gold's Gym and relive his glory days. I renamed him Uncle Rico.

same here. netflix always has what i want. when i started up Blockbuster, it would take up to a week just to get a movie. netflix, about 2 days. blockbuster also has a bad habit of sending the wrong movies in the right sleeve. i only had blockbuster for about 2 months and got 5 wrong movies, plus the week delivery time issue and the stores never had the good movies. plus, if you did take the blockbuster store rental, then you were right back where you started with having to return that one to the store, which is out of my way. i hated blockbuster.
netflix FTW!

I get Netflix in 1 day, and they have way more foreign/indie features. I would do GreenCine, but they take like 4-5 days to get here and are more expensive.

We're doing the 2 at a time deal for both NetFlix and GreenCine, after canceling the movie package with Time Warner, and are still saving $24/month.
GreenCine is a little slower, but not much, for me anyway. They seem to have a lot of Anime, old classics, independent and foreign films.

For nearly two years, co-workers tried to talk me into Netflix. Now, I've had it for over a year, and I couldn't live without it. We have two young children, so making the big screen has become nearly impossible.
I have the 3-DVD plan, and if I time it out right, I can end up with 4-6 DVDs per week. This means that I get 15-20 DVDs per month, so I have really gotten caught up on my movies (both new releases and my back catalog). Also, I have enjoyed mixing some music DVDs into the mix.
One thing that may not have been mentioned: your queue updates automatically, so you can add movies in theatres now, and they will be automatically added to your queue when released onto DVD. Finally, I believe that new members get a 30 day trial.

"Recount" is tops in Netflix queue.
I've also used an A/V cable to hook-up a laptop to a TV set and watched movies that way. I don't know how much it is, but it's the easiest method I've experienced.
