TORTOISE fucking owns all! And yes to AC, their '06 performance was a letdown compared to others I have seen and I have been wearing out Merriweather Post-Pavillion, so good! I approve of all of these bands except I don't know Rusko, should I check it out if I am a fan of all the others?

Deacon was hilarious last year.

Rusko and Glitch Mob are electronic/dubstep music, I suggested because The Bug is confirmed for this year.
That list is pretty much just purging my brain of all the artists I desperately want to see

Also, I know Dan Deacon is going to be in California in April and he has a new 12-piece band that he composed his new album for, so BRING DAN DEACON BACK TO GOBI!!

Tortoise does not fall into this category though right? They don't tour enough, amazingly they're coming to Miami though for Langerado.

I'll check out Rusko when I can, is it more downtempo like Burial or glitchy like the mob?

oh yeah you're right I only said Tortoise cause they rule(you're lucky you get to see them this year!)

Rusko is hype dubstep out of London, way sick

Tortoise was not very good at ATP. Some of it was actually cringe worthy. Maybe it was just an off night...

If Animal Collective doesnt make it to Coachella than you can see them at just about every single somewhat major city in the United States this spring.

Yes, but watching them at Coachella makes it THAT much better. The more I listen to their Merriweather Post Pavillion album the more i HAVE to see them at the festival.

Instead of their own show? Near where you live? In some kind of small theater that allows you to walk around with your well prepared alcoholic beverage?

Booo. IMO i feel that watching a band you like at Coachella makes it a totally different experience.

Alright if they're playing Oakland in May I don't really care as much anymore. TBH I'd rather see them headlining than playing a sampler festival set but I'm down with whatever man!!
