As of this posting, Bonnaroo's lineup is coming out in an hour.

Which music festival has a lineup you like better? I'm curious as to how this board will respond.

Oh I know. Explosions in the Sky aren't coming out of their hiatus either. It's just funny because that lineup is inconceivable.

there is no way that fake bonaroo poster is anywhere near what it really is

I voted that they're equally good, but after taking a closer look at the lineup, I'd say Coachella has the upper hand. I'd still love to go to the Roo though; I've never gone....

Holy fucking Christ! Is that Roo list real? [Not the poster] Because if it is... I may have to make my way to Bonnaroo this year

edit: I voted both are equally good, but I think the Roo has the initial edge. Not to say, Coachella wont end up on top... But right now... the Roo line-up is made of win

i think coachella is way better except for Bonnaroo getting Bon Iver. :(

DID ANYONE just see the Bonnaroo Lineup video?

Basically shat on our Coachella lineup announcement through KROQ.

The video was eye candy.

I have to say Coachella.. but I voted both are equally as bad, cause this is the worst Coachella line-up ever..

I would probably never go to Bonaroo because of the lack of Electronic and Hip Hop music.. plus it's in Tennessee.

The minus points for Phish and jam bands in general aren't helping.

O HAI!

-Franz Ferdinand > Morrissey > Paul McCartney
-Yeah Yeah Yeahs > My Bloody Valentine > The Cure
-The Sahara tent

Yep.

Both are quite unique in their own way...But...as with the other years...Coachella has a Coachella line up and Roo has a Roo line up...I would go to both if I had the extra change...but in my mind...Paul McCartney and My Bloody Valentine just make the Coach line up...nothing on the Roo line up other then NIN and those 2 Phish shows even come close...for me...also...remember to never discount Coachella especially after those late additions last year :)

My Coachella buddy since 2004 is bailing on me for Roo.

I will probably end up at both :(

Poor Coachella, now would be a good time to put all your cards on the table if you have any, because you're going to have a difficult time selling tickets now. I've only been doing the festival circuit for 4 years, but this is the first year since that Bonnaroo has got you beat. And on your 10th anniversary, too. So sad. Stop putting bands who doesn't deserve it on the mainstage because you're getting paid to. First Jack Johnson, now the Killers/Winehouse, and next....... no one buys your tickets any more. Also I don't know if additions are becoming a Coachella herald, but it's a terrible idea to sit on someone and announce later. People remember their initial gag reaction at seeing a lackluster lineup, your casual festival goer is not going to care if one or two big names are added later, and they'll have their Bonnaroo tickets by then anyway.

On that note, I'll see you April

I think the Roo has a better lineup but I still have no interest in going to it especially with all the hippies and trust-a-farians that will be there because of phish.

Bonnaroo has slightly better headliners, but the overall bill for Coachella is more my cup of tea. I'm going for my first Coachella this year, mainly because April suits me better for travelling to the US. If June was more convenient, Bonnaroo would definetely be an option.

Coachella wins, not by alot, usually i would say from year to year that Coachella blows them away, this year, they just beat them, thats all.

the undercard looks much better at Coachella but the headliners for 'Roo are better

I've been to Bonnaroo once and had a blast.

But I paid the extra for VIP.

Don't know how much fun I would have had without VIP.

I'm trying to visit every festival ever so I'm going to try one I haven't been to this year besides going to Coachella.

Sorry Coachella :(

I had to vote Bonnaroo... I will have an equally good time at both, though, to be sure.

But just completely based on lineup, Roo is much better for me right now. That's all there is to it. Sad but true...
