Are Flip Cameras Ignored By Security?

I have something like a flip video camera that I want to bring to coachella, but I don't want it to be confiscated. Will the baby fuzz turn a blind eye to my camcorder? Will we ever find out who killed Larry?

I've gotten my mini dv camcorder in with extra tapes. The trick: When they pat you down, hold it in your hands with your arms out. They never look at your hands. Security only pays attention to what they feel in your pockets. I swear this works. Works with pipes, cameras, whatever.

THey kind of look like a cross between a cell phone camera and an ipod. They should pass security. The video and sound aren't that great anyway. Not much different than a small digicam.
