It clearly states that everyone is able to bring food into the campgrounds, but I have one question about that...

Does the food have to be in a sealed package? Would I be able to bring sandwiches/cookies that I make myself and package in a sandwich bag???

Just curious.

I think you're fine - from the Onsite camping rules:

* Feel free to bring your own food and beverages into onsite camping, but unfortunately there will be NO open fires, gas, charcoal, propane or any other cooking devices allowed.

* No alcohol, glass containers, weapons, drug paraphernalia or drugs allowed. (There will be a clubhouse serving cocktails)

A friend of mine has brought sandwiches for the last two years he's attended. I'd be surprised if you had any trouble.

you have 5 posts, and have started three threads? Maybe save up a few questions and put 5 at once in your next thread.... title it, "I have 5 more questions I need help with".

it would be more efficient that way/

They will check your things for glass containers/jars but otherwise you can bring in whatever you'd like for food. Lots of people bring sandwiches and similar so they don't have to spend so much money on food in the festival.

Chiapet is referring to the campground, not the festival area btw. Can't bring food or bev into the festival area. Except maybe sealed water bottles some of the time depending.

ha you can bring a snack into the festival. Just hold it in your hand, they don't check your hands when they pat you down :P. Not sure how helpful a snack inside the festival grounds will be though.
