According to multiple sources, The White Stripes are strongly rumoured to be performing at Worthy Farm this year along with Bruce Springsteen, Franz Ferdinand and...erm....Lily Allen amongst others. Q magazine and eFestivals have this information upon their website. Until further official statement from the band or their representative, please take this information with a grain of salt !

Embarcadero!!! as it was originally scheduled before they moved it to coors would have been the epic one.

I don't think they will be playing anywhere for a long while after that Conan performance last week. You could tell they didn't want to play and were only doing a favor to Conan. At least that is the vibe I got from it.

I'm kinda hoping it's not true. Part of me hopes it is too. But it just seems to decrease the chances of them showing up at Coachella. On the other hand, any signs of life would be great, since we aren't all completely sure that this band will be touring in 2009 yet. And it also would probably increase their chances of showing up to Lollapalooza, which would get me to go for sure, which would be good.

But I really need them on Saturday of Coachella. It would really help that whole weekend exponentially.
