Similar band names

I really hate it when a band exists and gets popular, and then suddenly there's a strangely similar sounding band name that gets popular shortly thereafter. I'm sure many times it's not intentional, but it seems lame.

For instance:

If there's already The Who, don't call yourself The Guess Who.

If there's already The Duke Spirit, don't call yourself Delta Spirit.

If there's already Deerhunter, don't call yourself Deerhoof.

If there's already The Verve, don't call yourself The Verve Pipe.

If there's already Wolf Parade, don't call yourself Wolfmother or Sea Wolf.
