one year, at irvine meadows in the nineties (I think it was for Lollapalooza)...the men's bathroom was not adequately stocked with toilet paper. so, by the end of the day, there was this huge mountain pile of underwear by the trash can, all of it covered in poo. nasty. It appeared as though people who had to #2 just wiped with their underwear, and then discarded the dirties into this pile.

I just tried watching some youtubes of their set and it's just too painful. The crowd for Franz were some of the worst i've ever witnessed, it's fucking embarrassing. Clearly everyone was there for Macca but wow. I still sang along and danced my ass off, thankfully I was tripping ballz so I didnt notice the shittiest crowd in existence

I sang and danced my ass off too, but I don't remember the crowd being annoying. I remember jostling around trying to get a good shot of the band because I was maybe 7 people back and everyone else was taller than I am.

I was really hoping for more energy as well. There was this older gentleman in front of me who kept throwing his lady friend on his shoulder - that kind of annoyed some of us since the crowd was pretty laid back. Still, I didn't hold back from jumping around and singing along but it would have been a lot more fun if everyone was living in the moment - I mean it's fucking Franz Ferdinand and Alex Kapranos... well what can I say? He's just gorgeous and has fantastic stage presence.
