Tempe Music Festival- Even stupider than last year?

They've been trying to do this thing for a few years. It never has any sort of focus. They get a couple big local names, a couple of crap 90's grunge bands, a couple of "emo" bands, something for the rednecks, at least one "WTF" act (last year they had Fergie as a headliner), and possibly one or two decent bands.

This year...Kid Rock, Roger Clyne & The Peacemakers, Cowboy Mouth, The Outlaws, 3 Doors Down, All American Rejects, The Nightwatchman, Mutemath, and Shiny Toy Guns.

Seriously, who goes to this? MAYBE if it was all in one day, and cost, like $20, I might go just for kicks. But it's TWO nights, and costs $60!

Apparently enough people in Arizona to keep the festival from going under.

They claim attendance of 25,000, but I think that's total turnstile...so like 12,500 a day.

Many arizonans have horrid taste in music; look at our radio stations...there's only one "alternative" station, and that term can be used to describe the station loosely.

If you want to know who goes to this, I think you should go. Honestly I think you should. Do it in the name of science. We have to find out what kind of people are going to this. We know nothing of their mating habits and communication. What do they eat? Where do they live? Do they migrate? Do they mate for life? Do they have several different mates? Does the female eat the male after intercourse? Where do they breed at? What kind of ecosystem do they inhabit?

if it was all for 1 day and cost 30.00, i would consider going if its something to do locally, and thats a big maybe, but over 2 ngihts?? wow that is horrible.
