Start with The Cosmic Game, since it features the most guest performances, but also get The Richest Man in Babylon. Then get the Mirror Conspiracy and the new album, Radio Retaliation (since they'll be playing a number of songs off of it). Finally, get Sounds from the Thievery Hi-Fi and Versions and find the remix records and you're done.

It depends on what kind of music you're in to. Accessibility wise, I'd agree that The Cosmic Game is the one to start with. It was the first one I got and I loved it. The Richest Man In Babylon is a good one too. The Mirror Conspiracy, in my opinion can be bland at times, but it's still worth listening too. Sounds from the Thievery Hi-Fi is their most chilled out album, very relaxing and soothing.

I haven't heard the new one yet, but get that too so you'll recognize some of the new material that's most likely to be played.

And, at all costs, see them live, because they are excellent live.

They will play a lot of songs off Mirror Conspiracy live, so that might be a good place to start...at least they did when I saw them a few years ago. Also get their most recent album, Radio Retaliation, which I expect they will lean on live also.

Richest Man in Babylon is DOPE.

I'd start there.

That's cool and all, but be a good person and buy a few of 'em later if you like 'em. They're not exactly pop-star wealthy.

Yeah for sure. I buy cds that I like. If I find one of their albums really good I'll most likely buy it off iTunes

Does anyone have a set-list from a recent show?
(yes, I am too lazy to search)

I've been listening to "Radio Retaliation" a lot, expecting to hear a few tracks. And I've been trying to add their back catalog into my collection.
