I like how Hand Banana is the only one to post in this thread so far.
With that being said, The Young Ones is a fantastic show.

I used to catch these on PBS late night and back in England in the 80's. Jennifer Saunders was on the show too, which I suppose led to the guy who plays Mike appearing on Ab Fab.
Did anyone see the weird ass other show that aired after The Young Ones on PBS (probably KCET, maybe the one in San Diego)? I know Vivan and Neil were on it. I remember something about dudes sculpting giant phalluses. Okay, time to do my own research.

Filthy Rich & Catflap - the DVD for the Young Ones contains some episodes from this
also, interesting tidbit: Saunders and Edmonson (Vyvyan) are married in real life

I just read that. And looking through the imdb stuff I see that they also did "The Comic Strip Presents" which I remember seeing as well. Such a comparitively small group of people seem to have controlled British TV comedy for some time.

yeah, they were popular in the eighties.
remember the purposefully weird images that would be randomly flash in some episodes? subliminal messages, man.

Looking back on this, I should have made it a broader British Comedy thread so I could post some Harry Enfield "Chormly-Warner" clips too.
