web hosting question

Wanted to know who has blogs that they use webhosting for and which service you use and if it is good or not. I have been reading review after review and it seems like every service has tons of bad reviews and figured this was a better place to check.

I already have a domain so it doesn't matter if the hosting includes it.

I need the service to support wordpress and preferably have ruby for writing.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I'm using MediaTemple and have been pretty happy - no problems, hosted over several servers, etc. One-press Wordpress installs, supports Ruby.

Used HostGator before them and they were also good value for money (shared hosting). I believe they just added Ruby in the last few months.

i read lots of bad things about host gator, i was thinking about blue host or media temple.

so you have had good support and stuff from media temple? i want something with decent customer service.
