Just got an email about upgrading to VIP for $249 + fees... What say you board members, anybody going to upgrade or are you going to spend the money on women, booze, drugs, coachella water bottles, and band shirts?

vip is pricey and doesn't get you half the things you'd think it would.

The sushi was nice.
Wish I could get sushi in the regular polo field

i found a vip wristband on the ground just in time for portishead and prince,
but prince is so little that i still couldn't see him.
it was worth the $0, though

I got the email, last year my friend had VIP passes for free, the only thing I used them for was the bathrooms, and the bar, but a waste the way I see it, only two VIP spots anyways, felt like I was trapped...

How does it compare to the regular vip tickets which get you into multiple areas? Right? Wrong? I don't know. Discuss.

The email is talking about the "regular" VIP.

What you might be talking about with "multiple" areas could be a sidestage or artist wristband. Regular VIP just get their couple special areas with good food, shade, and bar. And usually comfortable furniture.

Like the Safari camping options, it's mostly a question of how much value you put in it.

VIP means you can stand where normal people can't stand, but you're not allowed to move once you're there.

I somehow lost or maybe junk boxed my upgrade to VIP email offer. Does anyone know how I could get that link to reply to?

VIP is worth it to people who can afford it. For some people, $600 isn't that much. Those are the people who pay for VIP aka people who don't want to have to hang out with kids.
