The Anthem Ranch Pre Party

Anyone ever go to this? I have RSVP'd for the past two years and I never seem to be able to motivate to go. I was hoping someone could tell me about Anthem's annual event. Is it any good?

yeah I got the email about it today as well, havn't gone yet because it's during the fest. however I usually arrive at the fest around 3pm anyway so I wouldnt be missing much. I always go to the filter preparty the night before the fest but would like to do anthem as well.

Ha - well I guess most people are similar - go to the FIlter Preparty and skip ANthem's.

It does look a tad on the pretentious side, but as a native Southern Cailfornian I tend to not be bothered by such displays.

i would have gone last year with all the good DJs they had, but it was super far from the venue. i heard it went off though. if it was closer to the venue id hit it up from like 1-3 or or something. they moved it this year so maybe its closer. not sure though...

Yeah...last year's went off BIG TIME (I was RSVP'd but didn't go)...I saw pics. Seemed AWESOME. I'm gonna keep the option open for this year's though.

It was awesome! It will definitely be worth going especially if the early acts at coach are meh. Just be sure to have self restraint because we didn't end up getting to the fest until after 5 since we were having so much fun at the party! Its pretty much like the Filter party, except you add the sun, a pool, bikinis and awesome barbecue to the mix!

A Coachella party off-site during Coachella just doesn't appeal to me in the slightest, especially if it is a distance away.

I guess it means spammers. I just saw this as well. Registered anyway and it went through. Of course it doesn't mean it accepted it but I'm going to try and still show up early and see what they say. I went last year and it was fun. Great Coachella pre-party and this year they have Aeroplane!!!!! Fucking sucks if I don't get in. Does anyone have any connections at Anthem?

Nothing close & personal, but a possible hookup that got me on last year's list. Not sure if it'll pay off this year though. Every organization that's known for throwing great parties along with Coachella has been cutting back big time this year. Where in past years I could easily be on at least 3 different party lists, this year it's hard to get on just one. Fuckin' economy.

Actually this year, the Anthem Party is right now the street from Coachella and it's only 1 day versus the 3 days that they had last year. It also starts @ 11am. Here is the other thing, if you know someone who got the 2nd Anthem email..they can add three names.

Missashleyann, do you know anyone at the magazine? This year they put a serious clamp down on the public attending the party; however, I know subscribers are invited. With Aeroplane playing live and UK disco outfit Cage and Aviary spinning it will certainly be the best party out there...again!
