Can you make money at Coachella?

This is going to be my first year going to Coachella and I barely have enough money to get there. I came up with this idea of taking my Polaroid camera and snapping pictures of people for like, three bucks so I can survive through the day. Kind of like those annoying people at the entrance to amusement parks only....not as annoying. My question is, would there be some Nazi security coming after me for doing this, or would it be cool?????

it's not a bad idea...but you very well could have your camera confiscated and/or be escorted off the grounds for taking money without any sort of sales permit, so just be careful. "Nazi security" aside, sales laws in CA are pretty harsh

There's always dudes walking around the parking lot selling water. You could proly charge $2 for a bottle (same as inside) for peeps who are thirsty and forgot to bring water for the walk from the car to the entrance.

I go to World cups there are always people making money.
Sell beer in the parking lot (but don't get caught), face paint,bandanas etc.
oh and sell polaroids,give it a try.

you are correct sir. you have to get it shipped from overseas pretty soon for certain cameras.

Actually there's a camera place near me that still sells the film (expensively) but worth it...

i think you have a cool idea. maybe you could offer something else to personalize it a little bit more than just the polaroid?

i believe asking for donations would be the most worry-free way to go, so you don't get your camera confiscated or some other nonsense.
