Camping Alone

Hey! I'm in LA preparing to go to Indio tomorrow but I have a problem, the friend I was going to camp with cancelled her trip and I'm alone now. I was hoping to join one of the "camp alone" threads but I see they are closed now.
Is there any group I can join?
I have my own tent so that's not a problem

I think the groups are usually in Section A (this will make sense when you are there or you can ask a camp counselor.)

Lots of people camp "alone" without joining a group so don't feel like you will be out of place. Have a great time!

^he's right. i wouldn't worry about joining any "group" this late. It might work out even better for you, because you won't have TOO many people partying hardcore next to your tent. seems like a lot of those camping groups dont get a ton of sleep, which is something you desperately need in order to save energy for the concert.

just make friends with your neighbors and walk around. i guarantee you'll have a blast no matter who you're camping next to.

You'll be fine. The first year I camped I was by myself and had a great time. Just be friendly and talk to strangers. Good luck!

i am also camping alone things didnt work out as planned andi still wanted to go and i have never camped before, i learned how to set up a ten last night. anyone looking for someone to camp with let me know. or look for the tall black guy with the wierd haircut and say hi.
