Just for fun, a year ahead of time, who are your biggest 3 desires for the headliners in 2010?

Arcade Fire will headline. I think Daft Punk is a legitimate possibility if that tour next year does happen and I'd love to see Muse and The White Stripes headline any nights though. Obviously, Radiohead and Bowie would be great but like in the thread title, all this is wishful thinking. I really hope they're able to get Pavement though.

well radiohead would be amazing, but more likely it's either the Strokes or the White Stripes. I don't think Arcade Fire are headlining material just yet, they're still second tier act on the main stage.

Say again.
The Strokes are headliners and AF are 'still second tier'.

Simple question to answer People know of the Strokes in america, not as many people recognize the arcade fire here in the states. Would love to see both of them again

I think some of you may be overstating the "popularity" of the Strokes, their status has leveled off dramatically

Seriously, where is Bowie? The Strokes are not headliners.
I'd prefer Gorillaz to Blur and they would be a much bigger draw.
Radiohead has no chance of being there next year.

Yeah. I still recognize the strokes as second tier. I also don't believe that Blur or Arcade Fire are popular enough to headline. If I'm choosing 3 then I go with Radiohead, The White Stripes and Daft Punk.

True. Weird how that goes though, and it's a shame.

When Daft Punk return there is no way the Sahara will be able to hold the crowd...so here's hoping they are on the Main Stage (or was that inferred by them Headlining?)

In what way are the Strokes bigger than Franz Ferdinand? Thank you.

I still wouldn't mind seeing Amy Crackhouse, she's got some amazing talent if they're able to keep her sober long enough.
