it looks like you could chop down a tree with your shin.

Ugh, my legs are disfigured from years of running. When I was in really good shape, they were all veiny and bulging. In fact, I had to have surgery (Compartmental Syndrome) because my muscles were literally bursting at the seams. You can see the little scar from the incision.
