While still officially unannounced by the promoters, Billboard sources confirm that another major Indio music festival, Coachella, will once again take place the weekend before Stagecoach, from Apr. 16-18. Pavement, the 1990's alt-rockers who recently announced plans to reform and tour next year, are widely rumored to be one of the headliners, giving Coachella fans the band's first reunion show.

I like the mid-April dates. The weather is cool enough to be tolerable, but still warm enough to feel like Coachella.

I would not book your hotel rooms until it's announced.

as much as I love the weather associated with the date change it really creates issues with my kiddies staying with their dad while I'm gone for coachella weekend...his bitch of a girlfriend's birthday falls between these dates. She's the evil of evil stepmonsters and already has issue's with my kids...sheeeeshhh now it impacts my annual vacation!!!

You should bring 'em along.I would love to, they would have a great time but it's too much of an expense to bring them...if goldenvoice had a kids free with parent, then yes but for the most part...this is mommy's weekend...my one big annual treat to me!!!

Why not? If those aren't the real dates, you can cancel. If they are, you don't have to be on the ball to beat the reservation frenzy.

So, if I buy camping tickets when they go on sale, and then they change the dates of Coachella......am I screwed?
