i love how OFTEN i hear this ... then i found out that the person saying it barely knows anyone who is a native angeleno, or if they DO know any native angeleno girls, they're girls who are in the biz/trying to make it big and by nature (mostly - not a hard and fast rule) those girls SEEM to act shallow b/c well... let's be honest, the best way to make it big here is to network with the right people...

Seeing as how California has three (or 4?) of the top 10 healthiest cities in the US, I would say that the generalization that California itself has thin girls holds weight. San Diego, San Jose, SF, and maybe thats it, were on the list that I read in a health magazine. That being said, healthy doesn't mean anorexic. A little weight is healthy, so don't get down on yourselves for looking like you actually eat. I think I speak for quite a few guys when I say the walking skeleton look is out.
