I'd love to see Goldfrapp close the Outdoor Stage on Sunday night. The past two years I attended (only two years) I noticed a trend of a somewhat electronic dance act closing (or one act before closing) the Outdoor Stage. Examples - The Faint (2005) before Bright eyes & Scissor Sisters (2006). If this trend were to continue I think Goldfrapp would be a wonderful choice.
The other two additions I'd love to still see are UNDERWORLD & The Cardigans.

Neutral Milk Hotel is an innovative suggestion, I think they may play in 2008.

What is with the Radiohead obsession on this board? Radiohead was a great band, but now they try so hard to be esoteric and different that it ends up sounding like random noise. Saw them 9 years ago on the OK Computer tour and they were great. Now, with however many subpar albums in a row and huge venues, I just don't understand the obsession. Flame away.

Bahahah, you think Radiohead are random noise? Someone obviously knows nothing about music. Considering them mediocre is an opinion, but saying they're random noise is simply wrong.

Cool, a Radiohead feud. In my opinion, Radiohead is a brilliant band and those who criticize Thom Yorke may be in over their head. He is a genius and he knows what the fuck he is doing. the fact his band is not signed to a record level shows he is a true artist, not a cynical capitalist pig.

there is more of a chance of Bush admitting his mistakes than there is of Radiohead and especially NMH playing Coachella this year.
actually... you won't see NMH anywhere any time soon.. if ever.

Maybe you should stay home and wait for Nickelback or catch the Family Values and Honda Civic tours, since you know nothing about music. Coachella isn't for you.

Radiohead is the best band in the world right now, bar none...while amazing during any set i think i'd rather see them on their own rather than at a fest so i they can play longer...
that's not to say i wouldn't kill to see them anywhere - in fact, just add Thom on Friday!!

I still think Tom Waits would be the perfect addition.

They should also add the Black Pine, it is a new band I heard that sounds really catchy, it is on my myspace page (for the time being).

Wow. Are you kidding me? Some guy said he didn't see why everyone is so obsessed with Radiohead, and you say he knows nothing about music?? Fucking arrogant. Maybe he's not into the whole electronic thing, who knows. Even if that's so, that doesn't mean he knows nothing about music. It's comments like this that tarnish what Coachella is supposed to be about: a celebration of music.
Not a celebration of Radiohead, that is.

Let me first say that I still enjoy Radiohead's older stuff and if they played Coachella, I would watch them again. I just haven't been interested in anything they've done since Kid A. I'm not sure why I am "in over my head" here. Does everyone who likes music HAVE to like Radiohead's newer material? Frankly, I know quite a few people that have been less than enthused with their past few albums (and don't tell me they don't know anything about music either...that is just a dumb statement). And as far as Radiohead not being capitalistic pigs...with very few exceptions, their shows continue to get bigger and more expensive. Don't think for a minute that they are not capitalists. No one makes money on record deals these days. It's all in the concert revenue and Radiohead continues to charge more and more dollars for their live appearances.
Finally, as for the poster above who believes that I know nothing about music and am pro-Nickelback...try to relax next time someone criticizes Radiohead. Rest assured, Coachella is for me, I do know what I am talking about, and I am entitled to my own musical opinion.

Im surprised at how many people dont like Amnesiac. that album is so close to perfect. If pull/pulk revolving doors wasnt on the album, or was replaced by something off of hail to the thief.... like sit down stand up, that album would be better then OK Computer IMO.
Life in a Glasshouse is in my top favorite songs of all time!
