Maybe they don't like horns...
No Sufjan last year. No Beirut this year. Coulda used some Cold War Kids, perhaps Menomena.
One of the best lineups ever though. Cept for RHCP.

I am ecstatic. This is without any doubt going to be the best Coachella ever for me. Unbelievable lineup. Unbelievable. I'm so happy.

Am I the only one that noticed Nickel Creek?? That seems to be THE most out of place name. Willie makes sense. Nickel Creek, not so much.

There are easily 20- 30 bands and DJ's not listed for this to be complete. I just can't accept that that is everyone. Where is Bright Eyes on that list? I don't see 3 Sahrah tent headliners listed. I barely see 2 to be honest with you. I am waiting for the poster on the main page. Can't wait though. Evil Nine, Arcade Fire, Rage, KOL, Hot Chip, MSTKRFT, RAGE, Felix!!!!

I have a feeling GV isn't even close to being finished just yet. As we all know, Daft Punk, Massive Attack and Kanye West weren't added until after the lineup had been initially announced. Oh yeah, Madonna too.

I'm reeling here. Bjork! Infected Mushroom! Placebo! Arctic Monkeys! Crowded House! Travis! (I'm just wondering why Portishead isn't on there yet). Heck, I might even check out Rage if there are no conflicts.

Well got to say I'm in shock at that lineup. It's got to be the strongest and most diverse Coachella line up yet. There's no doubt the main issue is going to be clashes but that's a great potential problem to have.
Roll on April

With a lineup that great, there is going to be a lot of clashes. They need to add some shit ala James Blunt, Katie Melua so i can have a pint.
Yes, every silver lining has a cloud. My glass is half empty and full of old pubic hair.

Wow, what an amazing line-up. Each day has a bunch of acts I want to see.
Maybe its just me, but it looks like they are lacking a bit when it comes to hip-hop, the only big names I see Spank Rock and Ghostface. I was hoping for MF Doom or even Madvillain since they have a new album coming out.
Either way, I think the line-up is still great, and I will be there all three days!

There are other hip hop acts this year (besides Ghostface and Spank Rock):
DJ Shadow (new album is more hip hop than not)
El-P
Brother Ali
Busdriver
Pharoahe Monch (THANK YOU!!!)
the Roots
Lupe Fiasco
That being said, I was hoping for a little more myself. I agree with MF Doom - I thought for sure he'd be there with someone (DangerMouse, Madvillian). I was also expecting a couple of others (Crown City Rockers, Blackalicous, etc.).
Oh well, I'm hoping for a couple of more hip hop additions per day.
