Are there any restrictions in putting flyers on parked cars? An official response from Coachella organizers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and see y'all at the show!

I will kick your ass if you put anything on my car. I will kick it so hard, your esophagus will hang out your nose. Consider this your only warning.

Where in Vegas do you live? Or at least where do you park your car?

I have flyers to distribute.

I have good insurance. I'm a combat vet.

Please do not engage me in any more small talk.

I only want your POV model/make, license plate number, and location.

That is all.

By telling me that you're a combat vet, are you implying that YOU'RE gonna kick MY ass? I didn't know the army offered courses on beating up teenage girls. Also, don't they have some sort of job-placement assistance program? I dunno about you, but putting flyers on cars in Vegas isn't my dream job.

UnicornsForBreakfast

Also- Just because I wasn't quite done, at which point did you decide that I was talking to you in the first place? Does stirring shit on message boards give you a chubby, or something?

DeltaSigChi4

By telling you I'm a combat vet, I was making vague reference to Mark Walhberg's character in I HEART HUCKABEES ...

Mr. Hooten: Do you have a job, Tom?
Tommy Corn: I'm a firefighter.
Mrs. Hooten: Oh, God bless *you*! A hero!
Tommy Corn: I'm not a hero. We'd all be heroes if we quit using petroleum, though.

And they don't have a job-placement assistance program. Congress mandates a mandatory ACAP course, but guess what, if you're stop-lossed and in Irak fighting in someone else's civil war, they have you sign a paper -- and that was your ACAP. Furthermore, distributing flyers in Vegas isn't my job. I do it just to annoy individuals like you. Go be a model citizen and vote for Oscar Goodman now.

Wait, do you even have a car? Because if you don't, you're wasting my time here. I could be distributing flyers right now, after all.

I desired to distribute many on your car though.

Thanks for ruining my night. Tease.

Wow, flyers are such a meaningless stupid thing to waste energy hating. Just throw them out and move on. What's the big deal?

Have you ever thought about how much paper, and energy is wasted on these things? They irritate most people, hardly anyone looks at them, and then they end up all over the ground.

Messages written in dust are a much more effective means of advertising.

awww i love those stickers they handout every year as you exit coachellafest... i have a filing cabinet i am trying to cover completely with stickers and coachella is my main source for free stickers... i don't remember them charging ever though? the flyers are garbage though and i always dispose of them properly -nodding up and down-

i remember the little heineken temporary tattoos they handed out a few years back -sighs- everybody was jealous for days as my lil tattoo slowly faded but still pronounced i had a great time at coachella while all my coworkers ground their souls away at work....

Yes, of course they waste paper. They're bad for the environment. But probably no worse for the environment than the car you're getting flyers stuck on (unless you are awesome and have a eco-friendly car). Otherwise, if you really care that much, take the bus.

especially the dust on your car...

anyway, i have never been THAT anti-flyer, EXCEPT when people put the flyer in the crack of the actual windows (behind the windshield wiper - i can deal with, somewhat). that particular placement puts me in a completely foul mood, especially b/c the flyers get stuck in there and really difficult to remove. if you're going to put your stupid promotional crap on my car, can you at least put it somewhere easily accessible (and therefore easily removable)?????

I'm going to have tens of thousands of flyers.

I'm going to pick up cases and cases ....

hopefully the members posting so angrily in this very thread enjoy the fruits of my labour. :)

Yes, both are bad, but if you cut out one, half the damage is being done. Driving my car serves an important purpose. Flyers- not so much. It's a really shitty form of advertisement, people only resort to it because it's more accessible. Any moron with a printer can do it.

Mine are shipped to me.

They're fairly well made with plastic and gloss, not printed on thin printer sheets but heavy paper. :)

Question...
Why is it that every time
I'm walking down the street,
Somebody wants to stop me
Just to give me a flyer?

C'mon man...
FUNK DAT!

if any of you were really that concerned about the environment, you would recycle the flyers that get left on your car. I am sure most of you don't look at them and just toss them on the floor. you also probably throw your cigarette butts everywhere and don't recycle every piece of plastic, metal, paper, etc that you can.
you probably only recycle when it is convenient for you.
