george clinton/p-funk was one of the best shows i ever went to. i would <3 if they were at coachella. i'm looking forward to gogol bordello though.

george clinton is a crackhead pile these days. He has been for at least a decade actually.
Forget him. There's so much better funk out there than to dwell on him just for nostalgia's sake.

George Clinton has had a huge influence on the band according to Gogol lead singing. The Band does have elements of funk but us not a Funk band outright.

Agreed. Excpet for maybe a couple songs of Californication and By The Way, as well Readymade (from Stadium Arcadium) then I would be good.
